I offer a free 15-minute Introductory session followed by…

Beginner 30-minute weekly slots during the following times:

Tuesdays: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Wednesdays: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm

Note on Introductory Sessions: I offer this initial session so we can meet each other, discuss any personal music interests and to play your very first notes!

Rates:

30-minute Standard Lesson: £18

If the available times above do not work for you, please let me know and we can discuss alternative options.

Location & Parking

Lessons take place at my home in Malpas. Parking can be a little tricky directly on our street. However, there is plenty of parking available just around the corner on the street next to the church or on Malpas High Street.

Schedule & Payments

Lessons will take place at the same time each week during school term-time (based on the local term time schedule), and will be billed at the beginning of every half-term. I am very happy to provide lessons during school holidays (Starting 20th July) on a more flexible basis, at time to suit us both.

Holiday times and dates to be agreed at the beginning of each half term.

Course Materials

For beginners, we will be following the John Thompson's Easiest Piano Course series. You can view the book here on Amazon.

There are four books in total, but we will start with Book 1 and move on to the others when you are ready.

I will purchase this and any future books needed (upon your agreement) for you and pop it on your bill.

Additional lessons in the holidays are optional and to be arranged ad hock.

1st half term: April 20 - May 22 (5 weeks)

2nd half term: June 1 - July 17 (7 weeks)

Autumn 2026

1st half term: Aug 31 – Oct 23 (8 weeks)

2nd half term: Nov 2 – Dec 18 (7 weeks)

Spring 2027

1st half term: Jan 4 - Feb 12 (6 weeks)

2nd half term: Feb 22 – Mar 26 (5 weeks)

Summer 2027

1st half term: April 12 - May 28 (7 weeks)

2nd half term: June 7 - July 16 (6 weeks)

Autumn 2027

1st half term: Aug 30 – Oct 22 (8 weeks)

2nd half term: Nov 1 – Dec 17 (7 weeks)
